چکیده
مقدمه: بیماری مولتیپل اسکلروزیس یکی از شایع‌ترین اختلالات مزمن سیستم عصبی مرکزی است که باعث بروز مشکلات روان‌شناختی متعددی در مبتلایان می‌شود. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی نقش ادراک بیماری، راهبردهای مقابله مذهبی و تنظیم شناختی هیجان در پیش‌بینی سازگاری با بیماری در افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس (MS) بود.
روش‌ها: طرح پژوهش حاضر توصیفی و از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس شهر شیراز بود. بدین منظور تعداد 113 نفر به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه سازگاری با بیماری، ادراک بیماری، مقابله مذهبی و راهبردهای تنظیم شناختی هیجان بود. به‌منظور تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها، از رگرسیون چندگانه به روش همزمان با نرم‌افزار  SPSSنسخه20 استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون نشان داد که از بین مؤلفه‌های ادراک بیماری: مؤلفه‌های پیامد، پاسخ عاطفی و ماهیت بیماری پیش‌بین منفی و کنترل شخصی پیش‌بین مثبت و از بین مؤلفه‌های مقابله مذهبی: مقابله مذهبی منفی پیش‌بین منفی و مقابله خیرخواهانه پیش‌بین مثبت و همچنین از بین مؤلفه‌های تنظیم شناختی هیجان: ارزیابی مجدد مثبت، تمرکز مجدد بر برنامه‌ریزی و دیدگاه‌پذیری پیش‌بین مثبت و نشخوارگری و فاجعه‌سازی پیش‌بین منفی معنادار سازگاری با بیماری در افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس بودند.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده می‌توان ادعا کرد که متغیرهای روان‌شناختی نقش مهمی در سازگاری با بیماری در افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس ایفا می‌کنند.
