چکیده | ||
Introduction: The present study reviews the role of employing E-learning in the teaching and learning process at Payam Noor University, Mazandaran province, Iran, from the faculty members' point of view during 2012.Material & Methods: This study is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and survey in terms of method. The statistical population consisted of 300 faculty members. 103 persons were selected using the Kerjcie-Morgan table according by the simple random sampling method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was approved by experts and its reliability was 0.87 according to retest and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data analysis was done by means of descriptive and inferential (chi-square test) statistics.Results: From the faculty members' point of view, online and conventional training, internet, video-conference, multimedia, mobile based training and also training via TV and audio-video tapes are effective in the student's learning-teaching process.Conclusion: Professors and students can employ introduced E-learning tools in order to promote and improve the educational quality and the teaching-learning process in Payam Noor University Centers of Mazandaran province. | ||
