چکیده
این مقاله مروری روایتی بر اهمیت هورمون‌درمانی در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان با بیان رسپتورهای هورمونی تمرکز دارد. اگرچه این زیرگروه از بیماری در مقایسه با سایر انواع سرطان پستان معمولاً پیش‌آگهی بهتری دارد، اما نیاز به درمان هورمونی طولانی‌مدت همچنان چالش‌های متعددی را در عمل بالینی روزمره ایجاد می‌کند. بر اساس شواهد منتشرشده، داروهایی مانند تاموکسیفن، لتروزول، آناستروزول، اگزمستان و فولوسترانت می‌توانند خطر عود بیماری را کاهش داده و میزان مرگ‌ومیر را کم می‌کنند که در نهایت منجر به بهبود بقای بیماران می‌شود. در عین حال، بیماران اغلب با عوارض ناخواسته متعددی از جمله علائم یائسگی، دردهای اسکلتی‌عضلانی، کاهش تراکم استخوان، افت عملکرد شناختی و مشکلات مرتبط با سلامت جنسی مواجه می‌شوند. این عوارض جانبی ارتباط مستقیمی با کاهش پایبندی بیماران به درمان دارند. در این مقاله، تأثیر داروهای هورمونی بر بقا همراه با مهم‌ترین چالش‌های مرتبط با عوارض درمان مرور شده است. همچنین برخی روش‌های حمایتی و رویکردهای درمانی جدید به‌عنوان راهکارهای احتمالی برای کنترل این مشکلات مورد بررسی قرار گرفته‌اند. در مجموع، هورمون‌درمانی همچنان باید به‌عنوان بخش اساسی درمان سرطان پستان با رسپتور هورمونی مثبت در نظر گرفته شود، اما اثربخشی این روش تا حد زیادی به آگاهی بیماران از ضرورت ادامه درمان و راهکارهای کاهش عوارض جانبی آن وابسته است.
