| In the demanding field of nursing, where continuous education is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care, traditional training methods often fall short in engaging learners. Gamification, the integration of game design elements into non-game contexts, has emerged as a transformative approach to address this challenge. By incorporating mechanics such as points, badges, levels, and leaderboards, gamification turns routine skill development into an interactive and competitive experience. This strategy not only makes learning more enjoyable but also enhances knowledge retention and practical application. In nurse training, where staff face high-stress environments and burnout risks, gamification can foster motivation and improve retention rates .Gamification in nurse training, through elements like badges and leaderboards, revolutionizes skill development by infusing fun and competition into education. Supported by studies showing enhanced satisfaction, knowledge, and competencies, it effectively boosts motivation and retention. As healthcare evolves, adopting gamified strategies promises a more engaged, resilient nursing workforce. Future research should explore long-term impacts and scalability to maximize benefits. | ||
