چکیده | ||
Introduction: dysarthria is a neurologic speech disorder. The responsible neuropath physiologic disturbances of control or execution are due to one or more sensorimotor abnormalities. Few studies are conducted on the difference of practice on speech learning in both healthy and patient groups at the same time. Therefore, this study investigated the difference of black and random practice on MS patients with dysarthria and healthy people. Method: participants included 34 people with multiple sclerosisand 34 healthy people. The participants were randomly divided into two groups of practice types(block practices and random practice) They produced target phrase for three times at their normal rate. Result: The results showed that there is no significant difference in the type of practice in the group of patients in the three sessions of pre-practice, practice and retention. In healthy individuals, there is a significant difference between the block and random practices in the two pre-practice and retention sessions (p≤001), which is not significant in the training session. In healthy controls, the block practice is better in the pre-practice and retention session, however, in the practice session, there is no difference between the two types of exercises. Conclusion: According to the comparison, optimized and correct use of block and random practice methods in different learning sessions can have better results in acquiring and keeping a speech motor skill. | ||
