| This paper studies some new online assessment methods. The main question is: How do we know online students are actually learning? In order to find an appropriate answer to this question, the research methods we used were documentation (paper-based, electronic), literature review. The results showed that in addition to multiple choice questions and evaluating study projects, there are some new online assessment methods that have a high and effective influence on online learning. These methods include online consultation, self online assessment, online peer assessment, and e-portfolio. The advantages and disadvantages of each method was individually assessed and shown in a table. Using new assessment methods improves educational interaction, and highlights the educational objects and leads to a meaningful learning experience. Moreover, it can enhance educational goals and expectations and guide learning with the help of feedbacks. | ||
